Ivanovtsy brought cheese to Moscow for the exhibition Golden Autumn
The 28th exhibition "Golden Autumn" is held in UVC "Timiryazev-Center" on the basis of RSAU-MSHA named after K.A. Timiryazev and will last until October 10.
This is the main event of the year for Russian agriculture, where the achievements of the agricultural industry are shown and important industry tasks are discussed.
The Ivanovo region is represented at the forum by heads and specialists of leading agricultural enterprises of the region. The delegation was headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Cherkesov.
The theme of the exhibition is technologies of effective growth in the agro-industrial complex. The focus is on three scientific and technological projects of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia: agro-technological, livestock and biotechnological.
Representatives of government, science and business gathered at one site. The main event was the plenary session “Navigator of the Russian agro-industrial complex: technologies of effective growth”, which was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The business program includes round tables and sessions. Participants will discuss scientific and technological support for food security, the introduction of digital solutions, personnel training and other topical issues.
According to Denis Cherkesov, farmers of the Ivanovo region are increasing production volumes every year. The positive dynamics continue today. For eight months, raw milk production in the region increased by 3.9% compared to the same period last year. In agricultural enterprises, the growth was 7.3%. Output of livestock and poultry increased by 2.2%. A good harvest of grain, potatoes and vegetables is expected.
Several major investment projects are being implemented in the region. Five new dairy farms have been launched this year. Another 12 are being built or reconstructed. Dairy production in the region continues to grow.
The exhibition program will be supplemented by a gastronomic festival. Guests will taste farm products and learn how to produce them. Ivanovo region at the festival is represented by “Craft Cheesemaker Pavel Kabanov”.
