Kalujan urged not to associate colds with the weather

The fact is that a sharp autumn cold snap is not a direct cause of a decrease in immunity.
As explained to “Izvestia” physician-therapist Svetlana Burnatskaya, the increase in incidence is due to the fact that people spend more time in closed and poorly ventilated rooms, and hypothermia simply worsens the local protection of the respiratory tract.
In order not to get sick even in cold seasons, the doctor urged to arrange a full sleep, comfortable temperature and humidity in the room, as well as wear clothes for the weather.
Kalujans are reminded that adults can suffer respiratory infections several times a year.
As reported by “MK in Kaluga” earlier, Kaluga summer residents were reminded of autumn rules.
