In the Caucasian State Nature Biosphere Reserve completed work on part of the summer tourist routes. The last visitors left the Fisht shelter, and the White Creek trails and Uzurub checkpoint are closed until next summer season. This was reported in the publication of the channel “Vesti Sochi”.
Despite the end of the summer period, hikers still have the opportunity to visit several natural attractions. As long as the weather permits, there are routes to the Bear Gate tract, to the Lagonaki plateau and through the Aishkha pass in the direction of the Black Sea coast.
In the area of Krasnaya Polyana tourist routes continue to work in the summer mode. Travelers can go for a walk to Medoveevka and Achipsinsky waterfalls.
Conditions in the mountains are becoming more severe. The air temperature on routes at night is already falling below zero.
Tourists are advised to check the weather forecast before leaving, check the availability of the chosen route and take into account seasonal changes. Autumn hikes require special attention to equipment and preparation.
Sochi Marathon will bring together participants from 477 cities of Russia.
