Cinema as a smart interlocutor: on OTR they know how to do it best

Cinema is the most important of the arts, it is clear without Lenin. But it can be different, good, bad and Indian, like that. Bad movies can get boring, of course, when we see this, we switch the channel. But it is on OTR, Public Russian Television, through cinema that we are taught, educated and brought to high culture. The meaning of being, even understanding life as art. All these “Five Nights With...” films with the participation of our great artists, shot by the best directors of the country, are held in prime time on weekdays at the best time, when you can gradually track the artist’s role, develops, lives it, how the director progresses in his development, based on each new film. Here you can see all their successes and failures. Not only that. There may still be pictures of famous cameramen, or simply given a certain topic of family problems, for example, understanding the revolution in the cinema or vice versa, the torment of stagnant time. All this is presented with confidence in its viewer, with the knowledge of the secret that it is better than it seems. You can talk to him about the most important, high-level topics. And about freedom and unfreedom, including the people of culture who are making compromises, remember Mephisto, which is so often shown on OTR.

Even in the news, something may not be said or missed. Or, on the contrary, to squeeze, deliberately create an informational occasion. But the cinema here will never let you down. A good movie, presented with feeling and intelligence. And you can even, without noticing it, become a conversationalist on the other side of the screen.
