The decision to start the heating season is taken by local authorities on the basis of Belhydromet forecasts. This was told to journalists on September 23 by Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of the State Energy and Gas Supervision Alexander Gulevich, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

- The heat will be supplied in stages. First of all, social institutions will be involved. These are kindergartens, schools, medical institutions, archives, museums and so on. Provided that the average daily temperature for three days in a row will not rise above 10 ° C, explained A. Gulevich. Second, it will warm in the housing stock and dormitories at an average daily temperature not higher than 8 ° C also for three days in a row. And then the remaining administrative, public buildings, industrial enterprises will be connected.
