Krasnodar received more than 800 thousand tourists from the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of 2026, Krasnodar has been visited by more than 800 thousand tourists. For three quarters of 2026, the flow of guests to the regional capital increased by 5.5%, and the tourist tax brought to the budget almost 88 million rubles. This is reported by the press service of the Krasnodar administration.

According to the city administration of economy, almost 40% of tourists came to Krasnodar for one day, and about 20% for two. The growth of tourist traffic is associated with the resumption of the airport in 2025.

For three quarters, the city budget received 87.9 million rubles of tourist tax. This is more than twice as much as a year earlier. By the end of 2026, income under this article is expected at the level of 101.1 million rubles.

Currently, there are 235 collective accommodation facilities in Krasnodar, including 4 five-star hotels, 29 four-star hotels and 57 three-star hotels. The number of rooms in the city is 6 569 rooms.

This year, new excursion routes appeared in Krasnodar, among them River Legends, Peoples in the History of Krasnodar and Criminal Ekaterinodar. The tourist potential of the city was also presented at industry forums and exhibitions in Voronezh, Kolomna, Moscow and the Ryazan region.

In addition, as previously wrote “MK on Kuban”, Krasnodar entered the top three of the leaders of the vote for the cultural capital of 2028. The popular vote on the portal “State Services” will last until November 30.
