Lipetsk schoolchildren created amulets with their own hands

Pupils of Lipetsk school No. 14 tried themselves in traditional crafts. At the master class, the guys made candles from natural wax and created a panel with a peony on a birch saw.

The participants also learned about the importance of the flower in different cultures. In China, the peony was considered a symbol of power and nobility, and in the Slavic tradition it was attributed protective properties.

Ready work students took home as a memory. The administration of Lipetsk noted that the panel can become a decoration of the home shelf.
