In her welcoming speech, Head of the Basic Organization of the CIS Member States in the field of notarial activities, Chairman of the Belarusian Notary Chamber Elena Grinkevich emphasized:

Notaries of Belarus protect the rights and legitimate interests of minors. This is one of the main tasks that is included in the functions of the notary. The interests of minors in our country are given exclusive attention, this is a very important and responsible segment in the legislation. Today everything is settled in it, and we do not have any special problems with the application of norms. Therefore, I think that colleagues will be interested to hear about the Belarusian experience in the registration of inheritance rights and transactions with real estate, in the issuance of various consents and powers of attorney. In turn, we will gladly get acquainted with the developments of foreign colleagues.

Saule Kazakeeva, a notary from Almaty, Kazakhstan, spoke about the importance of interaction with the guardianship and guardianship authorities.

- Minors are the gene pool of a nation in any country, regardless of geographical location and legislation. These are our children. The role of the notary in their respect is very great, because we protect the property rights of minors, which places a high responsibility on us. The property rights of children do not always coincide with the interests of adults, and our task is to protect children from adverse consequences, Kazakeeva said. We can recommend to all colleagues from other countries our experience of interaction with guardianship and guardianship bodies. We are currently using innovative technologies here. Consolidation of efforts of the notary and guardianship authorities should lead to positive results. These bodies protect the interests of the minor, protect him even from his own parents, that is, legal representatives, adoptive parents, trustees.

Member of the Public Council of the Basic Organization of the CIS Member States in the field of notarial activities, notary from Yerevan Gayane Azaryan noted in her speech:

- We have something to talk about, there is always something to learn. We have common and particular problems that are of interest to all our colleagues from other countries. We are good at something, for example, Belarusian, Kyrgyz or Russian notaries. We learn from each other. For us, the Belarusian experience in the field of digitalization was very interesting. When we first started to introduce this direction, we used the experience of digitalization of the notary system of Belarus. The topic of inheritance of cryptocurrency is very relevant today. I know that Belarus has made a big step forward in this direction. I think in the end we will come to the fact that we will learn this experience.
