The international airport of the capital of Tatarstan switched to the winter flight schedule, which will operate until March 27. This season promises to be particularly rich due to the expansion of the geography of flights both in international and domestic destinations.
Travel lovers can count on a wider range of options for leisure and business travel. The number of flights to Dubai will increase. With the onset of December, charter programs will start in Sharm el-Sheikh, which will be performed twice a week, while the direction of Hurghada will continue its work. Antalya will also remain on the list available for winter travel.
Special attention is paid to the Asian destination: passengers will be offered direct flights to the Vietnamese resort of Phu Quoc. In addition, flights to Hainan, charter flights to Phuket and Sri Lanka, as well as stable routes to Shanghai, Belgrade and Istanbul remain. The intensity of flights to the Turkish metropolis will increase due to the emergence of a new air carrier. One of the most anticipated innovations will be the opening of direct flights to the capital of Abkhazia, where aircraft will depart from Kazan for the first time in the winter season.
There is also an extensive program of flights to CIS countries. From Kazan it will be possible to reach Almaty, Astana, Ashgabat, Batumi, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Yerevan, Minsk, Tbilisi, Tashkent, Ferghana and other cities.
The internal route network of the airport covers about 40 cities of Russia. Moscow continues to enjoy particular popularity, where 10 to 12 flights are planned daily in different periods. Popular southern destinations are represented by Sochi with 2-3 departures per day and Krasnodar - daily. Other major destinations include Novosibirsk, where you can fly up to 10 times a week, and Yekaterinburg, with up to seven flights. Also in the schedule are St. Petersburg, Mineral Waters, Makhachkala, Astrakhan, Kaliningrad, as well as the cities of Siberia, the Urals and the Volga region. Some routes provide for intermediate landings, but direct flights to a number of cities, resumed in the summer, will continue to operate.
