“Mikhailovsky Bastion” for five years gathered more than 35 thousand spectators in the Pskov region

The festival of brass orchestras “Mikhailovsky Bastion” has been held in the Pskov region since 2022. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the government of the region.

In five years, the geography of the festival has grown to 18 municipalities. The concerts were attended by almost two thousand musicians from all over the country, including eminent bands who come for free. The performances were seen by more than 35 thousand spectators.

Governor Mikhail Vedernikov noted with the Certificate of Honor the staff of the Military Orchestra Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which is headed by the organizer and inspirer of the Mikhailovsky Bastion, the chief military conductor Major General Timofey Mayakin.

The head of the region supported the initiative to expand the list of platforms for speeches next year.
