A criminal case was sent to the court against a 46-year-old citizen who is accused of committing theft, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency was told in the prosecutor's office of the Frunze district.

This man told his sister, who subsequently filed a statement to the police.

Her suspicions were confirmed: her former husband was involved in the disappearance of her and her brother’s property. The stolen equipment, the total cost of which was 627.69 BYN, the attacker handed over to pawnshops. A criminal case was opened against the Minsk citizen.

- The accused has a secondary education, previously he was brought to criminal responsibility for committing property crimes five times - convictions have been extinguished, said Andrei Serbun, deputy prosecutor of the Frunze district. He was charged with secret theft of property (theft), that is, in committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code. The citizen admitted guilt, refused to testify, using his legal right. The damage caused to the victim was partially compensated by removing the stolen 430 BYN from pawnshops.

According to experts, the accused needs compulsory treatment for chronic alcoholism. He is currently in the LTP.
