The Ministry of health of the Kherson region called seven rules of lung protection
The state of the respiratory system depends on lifestyle, ecology and attention to prevention

The state of the respiratory system depends on lifestyle, ecology and attention to prevention. According to the Ministry of Health of the Kherson region, simple daily habits can significantly reduce the risk of respiratory diseases. The department recommends that residents of the region adhere to seven basic rules.
The first and most important thing is to stop smoking. Tobacco smoke damages the airways and lung tissue, so it is also important to avoid secondhand smoke. The second rule is to maintain physical activity: regular movement strengthens the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
The third recommendation concerns air quality. Experts advise to ventilate the premises, maintain comfortable humidity and, if possible, limit exposure to polluted air. The fourth point is infection prevention: regular hand washing, respiratory hygiene and avoidance of contact with patients.
In addition, the Ministry of Health reminds of timely vaccination - vaccinations protect against infections that can cause complications from the respiratory system. The sixth rule is not to postpone a visit to the doctor: prolonged cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, pain or discomfort in the chest require specialist consultation.
Closes the list of recommendations to undergo preventive examinations. Clinical examinations and medical examinations allow to detect diseases and risk factors in time.
As emphasized in the Department, lung health is an important component of overall human health. Attention to your body and regular prevention help to maintain activity and well-being.
