Multifunctional platform in the framework of the social project “Sport for all” opened in Gomel district

In the agro-town of Eremino, Gomel district, the grand opening of the updated multifunctional sports ground took place. The facility is located on the basis of the branch of the institution “Specialized Children and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve of the Gomel District”. The site has become a contribution to the development of the sports infrastructure of the region and the creation of conditions for mass physical training, writes sb.by.

The project was implemented thanks to the social initiative “Sport for All” of the Republican State and Public Association “Presidential Sports Club”, as well as a joint project of the Development Bank and the Belarusian Football Federation. The project was supported by the Gomel District Executive Committee and the Gomel District Council of Deputies.

During the modernization of the sports infrastructure of the institution, modern conditions for practicing various sports were created. There is a set of power trainers. For fans of team games, a basketball court is open. In addition, a modern mini-football court with artificial surface was commissioned, which will become the basis for the development of youth football and competitions of various levels.

- The creation of a modern sports ground in Yeremino is an important step in the development of physical culture and sports in our district. I am sure that the new venue will become a center of attraction for children, young people and all residents who choose a healthy lifestyle and strive for new achievements.

The event ended with a mini-football tournament among young athletes of the Gomel district. The match became a kind of start for a new history of sports victories of future champions.
