Young people of the Tver region share their first experience of voting

For the first time, more than 29 thousand young voters will be able to vote at the polling stations of the Tver region, and the guys who have already made their choice shared their emotions, the press service of the regional government said.

Activist of the regional Movement of the First Alina admitted that she was a little worried before entering the polling station, but everything went well. She noted that she was welcomed at the site and explained everything in detail. The first experience of voting, added Alina, left her the most vivid and positive impressions.

“When I put my ballot in the ballot box, I felt real pride: I felt like an adult, a responsible citizen, on whose voice the future of my native city and country depends,” she said.

Yevgenia, a student of Kimr College, wanted to vote in the presidential elections of Russia, but then she could not do it because of her age. Evgenia believes that it is important for every citizen to go to the polls and express his position. She said that voting for the first time is exciting, but there is a pleasant expectation of a new experience.

Artem from Torzhok said he was happy to join a big country and express his opinion.

“I am proud to be a part of such a significant event!” the young man said.

Ilya from the Nelidovo district called participation in the first voting in his life a landmark event. The chairman of the precinct commission thanked him for his active citizenship and presented him with a gift from the regional election commission.
