Morgunova: the campaign to award the State Quality Mark for 2026 reached the finish line

The campaign to award the State Quality Mark by the end of 2026 reached the finish line. This was stated to journalists by the Chairman of the State Standard Elena Morgunova during the press tour “Movement for improving the quality of Belarusian goods on the example of enterprises of the Mogilev region, whose products were awarded the State Quality Mark”, writes sb.by.

She noted:

- To date, all conclusions have been prepared, all documents have been checked and clarified. To date, the package of documents is in the Council of Ministers to determine the date of the meeting of the Republican Attestation Commission for the award of the State Quality Mark.

According to the Chairman of the State Standard, about 260 names of various types of products from 150 enterprises of the Republic of Belarus apply for award:

- About 44 percent are food products, 33 percent are industrial goods and about 23 percent are industrial goods.

Elena Morgunova specified that according to the results of the work of the attestation commission, a list of laureates will be determined:

- To obtain the State Quality Mark, 5 criteria must be met. These are safety, technology, innovation, environmental friendliness and aesthetics. Every government agency has its own task. Safety is determined by the State Committee for Standardization, environmental friendliness – the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, innovation – the State Committee for Science and Technology, technology – sectoral ministries, aesthetics are evaluated by consumers. The aesthetic vote is now over. It lasted more than two months. The Chairman of the State Standard summarized:

- 42,500 consumers voted. Everyone could vote for only one product. Also, all expert opinions of each state body have been analyzed, evaluated and are in the general package of documents.

The State Quality Mark is awarded for 2 years. During this time, the laureate can enjoy all the benefits and preferences prescribed in the Regulations on the State Quality Mark. Belshin plans to launch serial production of electric vehicle tire sichevich@sb.by in 2027
