As the investigation department found out, the crime scenario developed rapidly. At first, a stranger in correspondence tried to access someone else’s page, asking the girl for confirmation codes from SMS. Having been refused, the attacker changed tactics and switched to open pressure. She demanded to transfer her 11 thousand rubles, threatening in case of refusal to publish confidential data of the schoolgirl.
To scare the penziachka failed: she did not transfer money and reported the incident to law enforcement agencies. Now the actions of the offender qualify under the first part of article 163 of the criminal code. If proven guilty, the lover of easy profit can face up to four years in prison.
