The relics of St. Luke of Crimea will be temporarily transferred to the temple of Simferopol under construction, they will be there from November 8. This was announced by the acting head of the press service of the Crimean Metropolis Antony Kamaldinov.
According to him, this step is of great spiritual importance. Antony Kamaldinov recalled that St. Luke always strove to be closer to ordinary people and to support them. The temporary stay of the relics next to the temple under construction, in his opinion, continues this tradition of spiritual service.
He also noted that the presence of the saint is especially important at this place and during the construction period. Antony Kamaldinov is convinced that the spiritual power of the saint helps parishioners to strengthen faith and hope.
The relics will remain in the temple from November 8 to June 2027. On the day of their arrival at 8:30, the bishop’s service will begin, after which a prayer service will be held at the relics of St. Luke.
