Murmansk residents wait more than six months for repair of leaking seams on Heroes-Severomortsev Avenue

Residents of house No. 78, building 1, on Heroes-Severomortsev Avenue in Murmansk complain of leaks of interpanel seams. Water enters the apartment on the ninth floor, spoils the repair and inconveniences the residents. After several unsuccessful appeals, they asked for help from the Popular Front.

According to the owners, the problem has been going on for more than six months. In one of the apartments due to the constant dampness deteriorated recently made repairs. In the next room from the flood so far saves only the suspended ceiling.

Residents appealed to the management company "Sevzhilservice" with a request to repair the roof and interpanel seams. However, according to Murmansk residents, they were told that the queue for work is large, and the exact timing is unknown.

In August, the owners also sent an appeal to the regional Ministry of Energy and Housing. Specialists examined one of the apartments and issued a warning to the management company. The detected violations were supposed to be eliminated by the end of 2026, however, according to the Popular Front, the work has not yet been completed.

Public activists appealed to the prosecutor’s office of the Murmansk region with a request to check the situation and take measures if violations are confirmed.
