At the training ground in the Brest region, a tactical gathering took place with the heads and deputy commanders of formations and military units of the Air Force and air defense forces responsible for combat training, the Ministry of Defense reports.

Participants were shown new target complexes that simulate unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as the work of aviation and mobile fire groups.
The commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces, Major-General Andrei Lukyanovich, told what the Armed Forces emphasize when training military personnel:

- Today, special attention was paid to the fight against unmanned aerial vehicles, one of the current threats. We demonstrated new target systems that mimic UAVs and showed high efficiency, controllability and survivability. They worked aviation, as well as mobile firing groups using various weapons and new sighting systems.
As the commander noted, practice has shown that the effectiveness of the fight against drones directly depends on the level of training of personnel. Therefore, with the advent of new target systems, the main emphasis will be placed on the quality training of specialists of mobile fire groups. Such groups have already been established both in the staff and in individual military units and units. Now the training ground trains specialists who will have to perform these tasks in the future.
