In the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region, a 47-year-old local resident was hit by a train due to a strong wind flow. This was reported by the press service of the transport police of the NWFD.

At Babino-2 station, a woman was crossing the road on a regulated crossing. A train was passing by at the time. The driver gave signals and applied emergency braking, but it was too late. Due to the proximity of the train, the woman was pulled under the train by a vortex stream. She was urgently hospitalized.

Another incident occurred at the Slavyanka station in the Kolpinsky district. Under the train “Little Visher – Fisherman” killed 55-year-old man. According to preliminary data, he crossed the path in the dark and did not notice the approaching composition.
