During the holidays, Tatarstanians were reminded of the safety of children

In the autumn holidays, most of the time children are outdoors: the risk of dangerous situations on the road increases, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Kazan reminded.

According to statistics, since the beginning of the year in the city there were 115 accidents, which injured 117 children under 16 years. This is more than the same period in 2025: there were then 96 accidents in which 105 children suffered, one died.

Parents are reminded: regularly tell your child about traffic rules. To increase the visibility of children, it is very important that there are retroreflective elements on clothes and backpacks.

Drivers are also reminded of compliance with traffic rules: reduce speed at pedestrian crossings, near playgrounds and schools, be as careful as possible.

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Kazan regularly conduct large-scale preventive work: conversations with children in schools and kindergartens, with teachers, attend parental meetings, said the head of the BDD propaganda department of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Kazan police major Aliya Valieva.
