Cash through someone else's ATM: what awaits Kuzbass from October 1

From October 1, Kuzbass residents will be able to deposit cash in an ATM of one bank, and credit them to an account in another. The service works through SBP, but banks connect to it at will - so it is not a fact that your bank is already on the list.

There are limitations. For one operation, you can make no more than 25 thousand rubles, for a day - up to 50 thousand, for a month - up to 200 thousand. Limits are common, they will not be able to bypass, moving from an ATM to an ATM.

The main thing to remember is that this is not an ordinary transfer between your accounts, so the free limit of 30 million rubles does not apply here. The bank can take a commission from both the depositor and the receiver.

The transaction can be denied if the bank does not connect to the service, if you exceed the limit or if the system suspects fraud. Before going to the ATM, it is better to check whether it supports such a function.
