Named the date of the first snowfall in Moscow

The first snow in Moscow and the Moscow region is expected next week, after 3-4 November. This was announced by the leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets in his Telegram channel.

The weather forecaster said that until the end of October in Moscow and the region the weather will remain approximately the same. At night, plus three to six degrees is expected, and in the afternoon the thermometer will rise to about ten. That's four to five degrees warmer than usual for this time of year. Rain is not expected, said Tishkovets.

After a week, the weather will begin to change, and autumn will give way to pre-winter. After 3-4 November, the thermometers will go down to zero, and at night it may well be freezing to minus three, and the rain will begin to mix with the snow.

“The first snow is expected to fall, unstable snow cover of about one centimeter may appear on the ground in some places,” the expert said.

Earlier about the first frosts in Moscow in early November told the weather forecaster of the forecast center “Meteo” Alexander Ilyin.

The forecaster also predicted heavy snowfall in Siberia.
