ChatGPT creates digital portraits of Volgograd citizens without their knowledge
Volgograd residents were warned about the danger of data transfer to ChatGPT.

According to the Office for the organization of combating the illegal use of information and communication technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, users often share personal experiences, medical issues and work files with neural networks. However, the study found that ChatGPT stores personal information in its memory by forming a detailed digital dossier. In 95.9% of cases, this happens without the consent of the person.
The neural network remembers real names, addresses, economic status, and even health data. This information can be used to manipulate or identify people. An additional risk is associated with the possibility of introducing false instructions through downloadable documents. AI can quietly influence user decisions.
To protect yourself, experts advise to strictly control personalization settings. Never send confidential work papers to chat. Try to depersonalize your requests by removing names and addresses. To discuss personal problems, it is better to use temporary chat mode and regularly check the stored information. Data security depends on trusting artificial intelligence.
