Novosibirsk entrants will keep last year’s minimums on the exam
The minimum USE points for admission to universities subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia in the 2027/28 academic year are planned to remain at the level of the previous year

The highest requirements for minimum scores are set for computer science – 46 points. For admission to social studies, you will need to score at least 45 points, in physics - 41 points.
The threshold of 40 points is provided for the Russian language and profile mathematics, as well as for history, foreign language, literature, biology, geography and chemistry.
The explanatory note to the draft order states that the values will not change compared to the standards in force in the 2026/27 academic year.
At the same time, the minimum exam score established by the ministry does not guarantee admission to the chosen university: the actual passing result depends on the competition and the number of budget places in a particular direction. During the admission campaign of 2026 in a number of Novosibirsk universities passing points were higher.
In total, more than 30 thousand people became freshmen in the region, of which 15.2 thousand went to the budget. More than 60% of budget places accounted for technical areas.
According to the Ministry of education, during the admission campaign of 2026 in Russian universities enrolled more than 1.3 million people. Budget seats were almost completely filled. The department also reported an increased interest of applicants in natural science, engineering and technical specialties.
Earlier, "MK in Novosibirsk" reported that teachers can be banned from filming without their consent.
