Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee noted the importance of National Unity Day for Belarusians, as this holiday helps to preserve national identity.

- National Unity Day is one of the public holidays that reflect the fateful stages in the history of our Fatherland. This is a celebration not of the past, but of the present, which we build today and now, with our own hands. It symbolizes the inviolability of borders and ethnic cohesion of the Belarusian nation, he said.

Chernikov mentioned that Minskskinzhproekt was recently reorganized and noted that its activities are directly related to how Minsk will change in the coming years.

According to Chernikov, as a result of the transformations, the organization has strengthened, and with this, its responsibility and the scope of tasks have grown:

- Today, we can say that your organization has become the one that determines some of the rules for the development of the city. Minsk is constantly changing, developing, we adapt and change a lot. You see the whole city, on all levels and in all parts.

Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee stressed that when planning urban infrastructure, it is important to look much further than the construction phase.

- It is necessary to understand not only how cheaper to build, but also how much resources the city will need for further maintenance and operation of the facility. We need to think about the economic component of the capital, he said.

According to Chernikov, long-term prospects are opening up for the enterprise. The city does not stop developing, which means that specialists who help plan this process will be in demand.

- You have prospects for the near future and further. Your work is always needed. New areas are being built and territories are being transformed. Somewhere something is being demolished, changing - this is a constant process, Chernikov said.

At the meeting, employees asked questions that are directly related to their professional activities and working conditions.

Many appeals sounded quite substantive. Specialists talked about specific working situations, offering at the same time options for their solution.

One of the employees of the enterprise told about the situation that arose when compiling estimates for a specific project. As a possible solution, he suggested reverting to the previously applied procedure, which, in his opinion, allowed to optimize the workflow.

Chernikov urged employees not to leave such proposals only in the framework of personal discussion.

- If you encounter ineffective procedures and see an opportunity to improve them, such initiatives should be discussed, he said.

Another topic of concern to the community is housing. Employees were interested in what opportunities exist to address this issue today.

Chernikov noted that the housing situation in the capital is changing. Commercial housing is becoming less, new developers do not enter the market in the same volume, and urban land is planned to be used primarily for the construction of housing for the needy.
