The geography of tourist routes of Karelia has expanded: the Ladoga farm in the Pitkärant district opened its doors to travelers. As specified in the regional Ministry of agriculture, the company relied on the development of agrotourism.
Now visitors can not only buy natural products, but also get acquainted with the internal processes of the farm. For a comfortable rest, guests were equipped with: • an exposition of agricultural machinery; • a livestock museum (in the open air); • a zone for walking goats; • parking and playgrounds for children.
The main specialization of Ladoga is dairy production. The farm breeds cattle and goats, as well as independently process milk. In the local cafe you can try and buy fresh cottage cheese, butter and author's cheeses.
