November will be like a terrible dream. Forecasters gave a new forecast for the end of autumn

The idyll of October is coming to an end. While many are accustomed to the atypical heat, meteorologists sound the alarm: the final of autumn 2026 will be a real shock and will present the inhabitants of the country with severe trials.

The well-known meteorologist Evgeny Tishkovets warns: the amount of precipitation in a number of regions will not only exceed the norm, but also approach the long-term record. The element will not stint on surprises: endless cold showers will be smoothly replaced by snowfalls. But the main danger is freezing rain. It will instantly turn highways and sidewalks into a dangerous rink, as well as create a critical load on power lines and utility systems.

Weather analysts confirm this grim scenario. Residents of Central Russia, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, will feel a sharp change in the first days of the month. The capital will meet wet snow mixed with rain, and by mid-November cyclones will bring full snowdrifts. The sun will appear extremely rarely, and in some periods thermometers will drop to -10 degrees.

Experts unanimously urge not to delay the preparation:

Motorists urgently need to "re-shooting" cars in winter tires, without waiting for snowfall.

• All citizens should review the wardrobe in the direction of warmer clothes and shoes with non-slip soles.

• Regularly monitor storm warnings of local emergency services.
