Renovated art school on the Odoevskoye highway in Tula will open in 2027

The head of the Tula administration, Ilya Bespalov, monitored the overhaul of the children's art school No. 6 on the Odoevskoye highway. The building continues the active phase of work, which has already noticeably changed its appearance, said the city manager in his channel in MAX.

According to the national project “Family”, the roof and foundation were repaired, life support systems and facade were updated, walls and doorways were strengthened. The main set of these works was completed in September. Additional agreements were concluded for the interior decoration of the premises and the improvement of the territory that were not included in the original contract. The contractor began their execution in early autumn.

“The object is important, the amount of work is very large. We are now seeing their active phase. The building has significantly changed, said Ilya Bespalov.

The school of art is planned to open in 2027. After the reconstruction, children will be able to study in a completely renovated building with renovated premises and landscaped territory.

Earlier, MK in Tula announced plans to create a Creative School League in the region, which will help identify and support talented children. The first events of the new project are scheduled for January 2027. The concept of the platform began to develop on October 28 at a strategic session in Tula, which brought together about 40 representatives of the educational sphere, culture, youth policy, public organizations and the parent community.

The initiative appeared on behalf of the Governor Dmitry Milyaev in the framework of the school project “Knowledge”. Creativity. Sport. Representatives of the Youth Council of the Government of the Tula region and school activists also joined the discussion.
