In Kuzbass, the operator of the call center of telephone fraudsters was covered. The man organized a whole technical base for remote deception of citizens. This was reported in the GU MIA of Russia in the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass.
The detention was carried out by employees of the department for combating ICT crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the regional FSB with the forceful support of Regardie. The suspect was taken for illegal use of the communication terminal.
During the searches, Sim boxes, more than 280 SIM cards, mobile phones and other evidence were seized from him. According to preliminary data, from January 2025 to September 2026, the defendant in the group organized the work of subscriber traffic terminals. This allowed fraudsters to remotely steal money from citizens. The technical base of the call center was located in Leninsk-Kuznetsky.
A criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 274.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The police continue to provide prompt support.
