Payment for public transport in Vladikavkaz will rise to 40 rubles

The RSO-Alania Transport Committee reported on the change in the fare for public transport in Vladikavkaz, explaining this by the increase in prices for fuel, spare parts and bus service, as well as the need to increase drivers' salaries.

The department also noted that, according to calculations, the cost of one trip is 49 rubles 30 kopecks.

The carriers proposed to increase the tariff to 50 rubles, but the Committee did not support such an initiative. Therefore, as a result of negotiations, the parties reached a compromise and set the fare at 40 rubles.

Earlier it was reported that in the capital of Ossetia there will be a square named after Yuri Kuchiev and a monument to Vilna Ouarziati.
