A multifunctional sports ground, erected during the republican social project of the Presidential Sports Club “Sport for All”, was solemnly opened in the agro-town of Golshany, Oshmyansky district, BelTA reports.

The goal and the main idea of the project is sports accessible to everyone, and its task is to create a sports infrastructure and thereby promote the organization of active leisure activities of people.

The head of state often emphasizes that the well-being of ordinary people and workers is an absolute priority in Belarus, and this applies especially to villagers. Today, comfortable living conditions are created everywhere, and the opening of a multifunctional sports ground is a confirmation of this. Golshany was not chosen by chance, projects aimed at popularizing physical culture and sports are being implemented here: “Golshany is a healthy village”, “We play football”, “Culture and sports”, said Andrey Klyshevsky, Chairman of the Oshmyansky District Executive Committee.

The head of the district expressed confidence that many young residents of the agro-town will begin their way to sports peaks, lay the foundations for future achievements.

According to the head of the sports department of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Maxim Malakhovsky, today four such venues are opening in the region. He expressed great gratitude to the Presidential Sports Club and called on residents of the district to actively participate in its projects.

"The path that begins at such venues often continues at high-level competitions, republican and international," he said.

Full of enthusiasm to master the new object and the Golshans themselves. A young athlete from the local high school Alexei Voytenitsa shared the joy that now together with peers will be able to train in excellent conditions. It will be a favorite place for students, he said.

“The school is the heart of our agro-town,” said Tatyana Ivanova, a resident of Golshan. – It is great that the site was placed on its territory. It will become a real place of attraction for children and adults, not only my fellow villagers, but also those who live in neighboring villages. This is an important investment in health.”.
