Correctional institutions of the Ulyanovsk region presented their own products at regional agricultural fairs. Visitors were offered furniture, wooden products, souvenirs and textile products. Some products can be made on an individual order.
The trade events were attended by institutions subordinate to the regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service. In addition to traditional food products, visitors to the fairs were able to get acquainted with goods made in the production units of correctional institutions.
The range included cabinet furniture, various wood products, souvenir products and items for the arrangement of territories. Also, buyers were presented with small architectural forms and sewing products.
A particular interest was caused by the possibility of manufacturing products for individual orders. This allows buyers to purchase products taking into account their own wishes for their characteristics.
According to the regional FSIN, visitors positively appreciated the variety of products presented.
The participation of correctional institutions in agricultural fairs is regular. Such events make it possible to acquaint residents of the Ulyanovsk region with the range of products produced in institutions of the penitentiary system.
In addition, fair trade becomes an additional platform for promoting own products and attracting new customers.
The regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service notes that such activities are carried out within the framework of state policy aimed at developing and popularizing the production sector of correctional institutions.
