The patient failed to sue the clinic after blepharoplasty: gave only 20 thousand

As it became known to “MK”, the lady turned to a plastic clinic in Small Sukharevsky Lane in April 2021. She ordered a bilateral upper blepharoplasty for 29 thousand rubles. The operation was successful, but after 9 months, the woman again appeared in the medical institution with a request to remove the scar. This intervention cost the client 500 rubles, but the result did not satisfy her: allegedly, education appeared on the eye under the seam. Surgeons returned the patient money for blepharoplasty, but this did not satisfy her - the woman filed a lawsuit against the clinic. The coach considered that her health was seriously damaged, and demanded 100 thousand rubles in compensation, as well as 700 thousand for moral damage.

However, in the Meshchansky court, where the case was initially considered, the woman suffered a fiasco. Plastic surgeons were able to prove that the procedure was provided qualitatively and fully. As for the notorious education, it is almost imperceptible and does not affect the beauty of women. In addition, such scars are inevitable with eyelid plastics, and their size can be different - depending on the characteristics of the patient's skin. Therefore, the plaintiff was denied in full. In the appellate instance of the Moscow city court the case was reviewed. The judges came to the conclusion that the doctors negligently treated the documentation, and the lady still deserves compensation for moral damage, but in the amount of only 20 thousand rubles. She could not achieve more.
