Pensioner from Syktyvkar lost 7.5 million rubles due to fraudsters

In Syktyvkar 63-year-old woman became a victim of fraudsters and lost 7.5 million rubles. The attackers contacted her under the guise of a Social Fund employee and then a support team and convinced her bank accounts were in danger.

Believing the fraudsters, the pensioner withdrew the savings and transferred them to a man who called himself a bank inspector. The fraud was revealed after the woman applied to the bank: the documents transferred to her turned out to be fake.

On the fact of fraud on an especially large scale opened a criminal case.
