Penzaka lost 1.1 million, trusting a stranger from the network

The desire to get rich quickly turned into a 49-year-old resident of Penza the loss of a significant amount. The woman became the victim of a con artist she met online.

A new friend offered a simple way to earn money – a game on the stock exchange. Believing in easy profits, the penzia downloaded the application and registered. Acting at the behest of a virtual mentor, she transferred a total of 1,132,000 rubles to the accounts of the so-called crypto exchanger.

However, when it came to withdrawing money, the system failed. The mentor stopped responding to messages, and the cherished “profit” remained virtual. Realizing that she had been fooled, the woman went to police station No. 4.

Now on the fact of major fraud opened a criminal case under part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation. The police are looking for a con artist. For such “earnings” she faces up to 10 years in prison.
