The investigation of the criminal case by the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Komi has been completed. The defendants are three teenagers 14 years old, who are charged with several episodes of unlawful possession of a vehicle without the purpose of theft (theft), committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (paragraph "a" part 2 of article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In addition, one of the defendants was charged with theft with causing significant damage to a citizen (paragraph 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
As the investigation established, in August 2026, minors, acting on preliminary conspiracy, several times committed thefts. Pitbikes were moved by teenagers from parking spaces, the engine was started, after which they illegally moved through the streets of the city, taking turns changing each other at the wheel.
Another episode: one of the minors stole a gaming console from the apartment of a friend and disposed of it at his discretion. The owner suffered damage in the amount of more than 44 thousand rubles.
The evidence gathered during the investigation was considered sufficient. The criminal case with the approved indictment was sent to court.
