NAO police ask for help in search of missing man

In the Nenets Autonomous District, the search for the missing man continues. On November 1, 2026, a man born in 1952 left home and has not returned to the present day.

According to CCTV records, on November 1, at about 9:30, a man was seen in the area of house No. 3 on Student Street in Naryan-Mar. He was moving towards Pioneerskaya Street. Subsequently, he was seen passing along the garages in the area of the house No. 29 on Pionerska Street.

On November 6, the last signal of the man’s mobile phone was recorded. According to reports, it came from the coverage area of the network of the operator, located approximately 10 kilometers from the ski roller track, south of Naryan-Mar, outside the urban area. The phone subsequently ran out.

Search activities are currently ongoing. With the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle, the territory in the area of the Tomarka River is being examined.
