The Council of Ministers adopted a resolution aimed at the development of domestic and inbound tourism. The relevant document was signed by Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin. This was reported in the press service of the Government, writes sb.by.

Among the key changes is a new structure: a network of six regional and interregional tourist information centers (TIC) is being formed in the country. Also among the innovations are regional promotion (regional and interregional centers will coordinate the creation and promotion of tourist products of their macro-regions) and extrabudgetary activities (measures are provided to stimulate TIC revenues from the provision of services).
Another important aspect is monitoring and monitoring. The responsibility of the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee for monitoring domestic and inbound tourism has been strengthened. In addition, the National Agency for Tourism has additional powers to coordinate the activities of the TIC and distribute social advertising.
The regional executive committees were instructed to create regional and interregional tourist information centers within the framework of new staffing standards within three months.
