The representative of Karelia Ruket Kushtova became a two-time champion of Russia in boxing, said the Federation of Boxing of the Republic in its public in the social network. The athlete is coached by Albert Mutalibov.

The final fight for the title of champion of Russia among women unfolded in the capital on October 26. In a tense confrontation, two already proven champions came together. The representative of Karelia, Ruket Kushtova, managed to defeat the experienced Ulyana Savro, representing the Rostov region and the DPR. This victory marked her second successive triumph.

Thus, the treasured gold of the championship of Russia in 2026 is sent to Karelia. According to the Karelia Boxing Federation, the outcome of the fight between two outstanding athletes was determined by the impeccable accuracy of attacks, competent tactical training, equanimity and the ability to intercept the course of the battle at decisive moments.
