Check your vision without a trip to another city: a mobile ophthalmic clinic will arrive in Old Main

Residents of the Staromainsky district of the Ulyanovsk region will be able to undergo a vision examination by specialists of the Cheboksary branch of the ISTC “Eye Microsurgery” named after academician S. N. Fedorov. On-site reception will be held on November 12 in the working village of Staraya Maina. Consultations will be paid, but patients will also be offered the opportunity to obtain quotas for free operations.

The mobile diagnostic complex will be located on Lenin Square near the building of the district House of Culture. The admission of patients will begin on November 12 at 10:00.

In a specially equipped medical complex, specialists will conduct consultations and examinations aimed at identifying visual impairments and various ophthalmological diseases.

Modern diagnostic equipment will allow doctors to assess the condition of the visual system and, if necessary, choose a suitable method of correction.

According to the results of the examination, patients will be able to recommend further treatment. Depending on the identified violations, specialists will determine whether therapeutic assistance or surgical intervention is required.

Separately, the organizers report an expanded number of quotas for free ophthalmic operations. The possibility of receiving such assistance will depend on the diagnosis and medical indications.

At the same time, the consultation itself is carried out on a paid basis. The cost of the survey in the published announcement is not specified.
