Parents of Kostroma schoolchildren complained about excessive home load
In social networks, residents of Kostroma discuss the amount of homework faced by primary school students

On social media, Kostroma residents discuss the amount of homework that primary school students face. The reason was the publication of the mother of the second grader: the woman said that the child ceased to cope with school due to constant overload. According to her, similar difficulties arise in other families, writes Co44.
According to Kostroma, in the first grade, the daughter spent every day on homework for four to five hours. Most of the time was occupied by reading and writing, which caused the girl to tire her hands and hurt her eyes. There was almost no time left for walks and a full rest, and in the second class the tasks became even more.
The mother of the schoolgirl gives examples of exercises that she says are given to children. In English, students have to write texts, although they have not yet mastered the alphabet and pronunciation. In mathematics, it is necessary to solve tasks for multiplication and division, including inverse problems, and in Russian - to prepare essays and presentations.
At the same time, as the parent says, the teacher recommends to independently engage with the child at home, learn words and the alphabet, and if necessary, contact tutors. As a result, a significant part of the educational material, according to the woman, falls on the shoulders of the family.
Constant fatigue and tension, says the mother, has already affected the attitude of the daughter to school: the girl began to refuse classes. After the publication, it turned out that other parents also complain of excessive workload. The question of how much homework corresponds to the capabilities of younger schoolchildren has caused an active discussion in the network.
