From October 1, prices for gas and garbage removal will change for residents of the Volgograd region

From October 1, in the Volgograd region, standards for the accumulation of solid municipal waste for residents of cities are reduced, which will lead to a decrease in monthly payments. For apartment and private houses in cities, the standards will decrease by 24.3% and 10.3%, respectively. Only rural private homes will see a slight increase of 1.7%. This is due to a general decrease in the volume of MSW in the country due to more conscious consumption and sorting of garbage.

At the same time, retail prices for natural gas are rising: the cost of a cubic meter will increase by about 9%, and payments for cooking and heating will also increase. However, tariffs in the region remain comparable or lower than the average Russian, changes undergo public expertise, and certain categories of citizens can count on compensation for housing and communal services costs up to 100%.
