School No. 5 in Kursk became the best in the basics of security and protection of the Motherland
In Kursk summed up the results of the municipal stage of the competition for the best class of the basics of security and protection of the Motherland. The organizer was the Department for Civil and Emergency Affairs of the city, and the competition itself is held by decree of the government of the Kursk region. Its task is to awaken students’ interest in civil defense, emergency protection, fire and water safety.
In Kursk summed up the results of the municipal stage of the competition for the best class of the basics of security and protection of the Motherland. The organizer was the Department for Civil and Emergency Affairs of the city, and the competition itself is held by decree of the government of the Kursk region. Its task is to awaken students’ interest in civil defense, emergency protection, fire and water safety.
In three districts of the city, one class was selected from schools No. 37, 50 and 5. These teams scored the most points among the schools of their districts and reached the municipal stage.
The commission, which included representatives of the Committee for Education and Management for GO and Emergencies, visited schools and assessed the material base and how pupils participate in thematic events on the OPZD.
The winner was the school No. 5 named after Hero of the Soviet Union, cosmonaut pilot I. P. Wolf. It was there that the widest set of equipment and theoretical materials were found, allowing you to dive deeply into the subject. Now the school will represent the city at the regional stage of the competition.
