“Sinara” filed a counterclaim to the authorities of Rostov

The Arbitration Court of the Rostov region registered the claim of Sinara LLC against the Rostov-on-Don highway department. Two disputes are considered in one civil case.

Earlier, in August, the city authorities filed a lawsuit against a contractor engaged in the laying of tramways in the Leventsovo district. The plaintiff demanded that the company complete the laying of engineering networks for the tram line on the streets of Zhdanov, Eremenko, Solzhenitsyn, Tkachev and Malinowskogo in accordance with the terms of the contract. The department also demanded to recover a fine of 2.5 million rubles from the contractor.

In September, Sinara LLC filed a counterclaim, offering to conclude an additional agreement to extend the deadlines for the work.

At the moment, the application has been accepted for consideration, but the court has not yet begun to study it. But if the court satisfies the company's claim, then there will be no need to consider the claim from the department. The next hearing is scheduled for November 3.

Recall that the scandal occurred in early 2026. Then the Rostov authorities suspended the concession agreement with Sinara. The company, in turn, managed to lay tramways in the Leventsovsky microdistrict for 6.8 kilometers. The implementation of the high-speed tram project in the city was suspended. What decision the city administration will make is unknown.
