Artists of the festival share experience with young people in Kalmykia

The Festival of National Orchestras of Russia in Kalmykia is not just a festival of music, unforgettable concerts, but also an exchange of experience. The program includes master classes and creative meetings, where stage legends share the secrets of mastery.

One of the first such meetings was held with artists of the State Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments “Metelitsa”. Andrei Kasyanov (Balalaika) and Andrei Kuzminov (Bayan) talked with students of the College of Arts and pupils of children's music schools. The musicians played several compositions, after which they answered the questions of the guys: how they got into Metelitsa, whose masters made their instruments, which was the most difficult on the creative path.

In the finale, the artists gave the main advice: “Listen to good performers, practice every day – diligence first of all!” And always look for inspiration.

On October 23, the Festival of National Orchestras of Russia started in Elista. Ahead are concerts of musicians from North Ossetia and Bashkiria.
