Sitnikov demanded to accelerate the preparation of Soligalych for gasification

The Governor of the Kostroma region Sergey Sitnikov criticized the pace of preparation of the Soligalich district for gasification. The comments were made at a field meeting dedicated to the implementation of the project.

The head of the region pointed out to the leadership of the municipality and the Department of Construction, Fuel and Housing and Utilities on insufficient readiness for the upcoming work. The specialized division of the department was instructed to submit a report on the work done the next day, as well as to prepare a gas supply scheme as soon as possible.

The governor demanded to pay special attention to informing residents. People need to explain how to prepare their homes for gas connection, provide necessary communications and install equipment.

Alexei Isakov, General Director of Gazprom Gas Distribution Kostroma, said that the construction of the gas pipeline branch to Soligalych and the gas distribution station was completed more than halfway.

After connecting the city to gas supply, heating costs are expected to be reduced by about half. According to preliminary estimates, the annual savings may amount to about 17 million rubles.
