Investigators and criminologists of the Western ISUT IC of Russia uncovered the murders of five people committed in 1995.
Four murders were committed in the Yaroslavl region, in the Nekouz district. One in Samara. But thanks to painstaking investigative work, the chain of events was restored.
Guilty in committing 5 murders, the investigative bodies of the Western Interregional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia consider the 58-year-old Georgy Kutsenko. He is not a citizen of the Russian Federation, he lives outside the territory of Russia. Charges in absentia were charged with committing crimes under Article 103, paragraph “h”, “and” of Article 102, paragraph “and” of Article 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (murder; murder of three persons; murder committed by a person who previously committed a similar crime).
The investigation managed to establish that in 1995 Kutsenko wandered on the territory of the Yaroslavl region. He was 26 years old. In the village of Volga, Nekouzsky district, he asked an employee of the railway station to find him a part-time job. Serious local resident, with whom Kutsenko was introduced by the station staff, let the vagrant to his post. But the guest did not appreciate the wide gesture. On August 5, 1995, he started a quarrel with the landlord and, in the heat of the quarrel, struck the man several stabs in the chest. From which the owner of the house died. Then Kutsenko came by train to the village of Yaskino. There he drank alcohol in the company of a woman and her friend. During a drunken quarrel, he stabbed a woman, her son and a man who witnessed the murder.
Having escaped from the Yaroslavl region, Kutsenko reached Samara. He killed another man in mid-September. In the same way, he inflicted multiple stab wounds that led to death.
“The investigation obtained evidence of the commission of these crimes by one person. At the scenes of murders found traces of fingers, which belong to Kutsenko. In the houses in the village of Volga and in the village of Yaskino, Yaroslavl region, coats and a torn collar were found, respectively, which made up one whole. Witnesses identified Kutsenko from the photo. Criminal cases were combined into one proceeding, the press release of the Western ISUT Investigative Committee of Russia said.
Since George Kutsenko is outside the Russian Federation, he was arrested in absentia. And put on an international wanted list. The criminal case was sent to the court for consideration in absentia.
