Guardianship employee in Berdyansk suspected of stealing child support from orphan

The Berdyansk city prosecutor's office revealed the fact of fraud by an employee of the guardianship department. This was reported by the press service of the supervisory authority.

In May 2025, the mother of a 13-year-old boy was restricted in parental rights. The child was transferred to the care of the state, and the woman began to collect alimony.

In June, a leading specialist of the guardianship department prepared a forged form. In the document, she indicated a requirement to transfer alimony to her personal bank account. No special nominal account was opened for the child.

From August to December 2025, the woman spent this money on herself. The damage amounted to 30 thousand rubles.

The inspection materials were sent to the investigating authorities. A criminal case was opened against the employee on fraud using official position. The investigation is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
