Employees of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations organized a safety lesson for elementary school students of the Zaya-Pandita Kalmyk Ethnocultural Gymnasium. The event focused on the importance of precautionary measures in the autumn-winter period.

Specialists of the emergency department discussed with children the basic rules of fire safety. The children explained the causes of the fires and described in detail the order of action in an emergency.

Students were also told about seasonal hazards. In particular, they were reminded of the inadmissibility of using faulty and homemade electrical appliances, as well as the risks associated with leaving heaters unattended. Separately, the topic of road safety in reduced daylight conditions was touched upon.
